Sentimental Value Lost
Today I had a sudden craving for bubble tea. I know of this great bubble tea place right in front of Jaya Supermarket, or better known as Cold Storage now. Marcus ( squash boy) brought us ( me and his then gf) there for a drink. I instantly got hooked on to it.

This place was also where Danny and I met for the first time. Well, technically I met him online and we first saw each other at the LRT station when he picked me up. But no matter, it was the place that kinda brought Danny and me together. And as I discovered today, it's gone.

I think the owners decided to close it for good... or they could have moved to a different location. *cries* Now where else am I gonna find bubble tea as good as theirs??! Seriously, when I saw their shop bare and closed, I felt my heart sink. I still have that feeling. *sigh* I guess all good things must come to an end.

I was telling Danny how they should sell us the place. XD But yea... I dont think we have the capital for it. :P But a girl can dream, right? Now, I just have to start searching all over again. :( Oh yea... DOME opened at Jaya too! It's super huge! Really nice looking. :D That might just be my haunting spot whenever I have the "DOME" cravings.... mmmm....^^

Don't touch that squirrel's nuts!
I got to watch Charlie and the chocolate factory today. I like the way how Tim Burton imagined Willy Wonka to be. The story was a little darker cos Tim wanted to stay true to the book by Roald Dahl. But nonetheless, I enjoyed it.

Johnny Depp did a great job playing Willy Wonka. The rest of the cast was great too! Especially Deep Roy as the Oompa-Loompas. Though, I didn't really see the variations in characters for each oompa-loompas.

But while watching the movie, you could sense that Willy is a little sadistic and sarcastic in the movie too. But still, the movie was great. Wish it would have gone on for a little longer though. Another thing I just HAVE to mention is the squirrels! Omg! They were sooooooooooo cute! And professionally trained, of course. I also love the whole set. It nearly made my mouth water... but I did think there was something lacking in the 'garden of edible things'.

This movie is definitely worth your money. I'll give it 4 out of 5. ^^

OoOo...unicorn.
uni
You are Form 3, Unicorn: The Innocent.

"And The Unicorn knew she wasn't meant to
go into the Dark Wood. Disregarding the advice
given to her by the spirits, Unicorn went
inside and bled silver blood.. For her
misdeed, the world knew evil."

Some examples of the Unicorn Form are Eve
(Christian) and Pandora (Greek).
The Unicorn is associated with the concept of
innocence, the number 3, and the element of
water.
Her sign is the twilight sun.

As a member of Form 3, you are a curious
individual. You are drawn to new things and
become fascinated with ideas you've never come
in contact with before. Some people may say
you are too nosey, but it's only because you
like getting to the bottom of things and
solving them. Unicorns are the best friends to
have because they are inquisitive.

Not so bewitching after all
I got to watch Bewitched last week and of course my date was Danny. :D I was really looking forward to it since I actually loved the series. But after watching, I came out feeling a little disappointed. Why? you might ask.

For starters, I didn't think Will Ferrell was suitable as the role of Jack Wyatt. Sure, he was funny in movies such as Elf, but this time, I found him a little annoying. I actually wished they would have casted someone else for that role.

Nicole, however, was splendid. I just loved how she potrayed her character. But, (yes there's always a but) I think the nose twitching thingy was a lil over the top. It just seemed weird focusing on that half the time. ( although that is the whole point of the movie anyway)

Story line...well, it was so-so for me. I dunno...it just didn't really tickle my fancy... but it DID make me laugh a lil. I would give it 2.5 out of 5.

The Isle of Eagles
Danny and I went to Langkawi recently and I can say I kinda enjoyed the vacation. It felt good being away from all the hustle and bustle of the city. We stayed at Langkasuka Resort, which isn't too bad I guess. It's pretty near the airport, just like Gary and Steph said it was. We hardly did anything while we were there, most of the time watching television or at the beach collecting shells. I dont know why, but whenever Im at the beach, I cant seem to resist collecting shells. -.-" Most of the time we ate at the hotel, except for that one time we went to Kuah Town, where Danny and I had thai food. :D

We did have our disagreements regarding the navigation of the roads, but which couple doesnt? Im never good with maps. There are some RARE events where I am able to read the maps, but usually map reading isnt my thing. We had to drive to Kuah Town in search of food and also chocolates. :D Danny's mom suggested we head to town as there's a shop selling imported chocolates at a cheap price. Danny wanted to get some wine for his dad too anyway. I would say we had pretty crappy organizing skills as we did nothing else but head to town and then to Underwater world, which I thought was a huge disappointment cos I thought there'll be more to be seen.

Oh well, but Danny did say we might go back again. :D I didnt mention about my first time flying. I actually thought I'd freak out, but surprisingly I didnt feel much... except on the way home when we had to sit at the back of the plane. It was a bumpy ride home.

I bruise easily
"I Bruise Easily"

My skin is like a map
Of where my heart has been
And I cant hide the marks
Its not a negative thing
So I let down my guard
Drop my defences down by my clothes
I'm learning to fall
With no safety net to cushion the blow

I bruise easily
So be gentle when u handle me
Theres a mark you leave
Like a love heart carved on a tree
I bruise easily
Cant stratch the surface
Without moving me underneath
I bruise easily
I bruise easily

I found you fingerprints
On a glass of wine
Do you know you're leaving them
All over this heart of mine too
But if I never take this leap of faith
I'll never know
So im learning to fall
With no safety net to cushion the blow

[Chorus]

Anyone wo can touch you
Can hurt you or heal u
Anyone who can reach you
Can love you or leave u

So be gentle...

[Chorus]

I bruise easily
I bruise easily

I think this song describes me fairly well...:)
