An update for you people out there. Turns out my CNY reunion dinner wasnt so bad after all. This year I never once got a lecture from my uncle BUT got compliments instead. *shock* So yes, Ive collected many ang paus... more than last year I think. :O

And also today is Valentine's Day. Happy Vday all~ First Danny and I went to MidValley for a movie. The movie he booked was Seoul Riders ( or was it Raiders?) and it was pretty hillarious... We had lunch at Dome and it was yummy. I had their Dome Chicken and Mushroom and it was superb~! Loved it a lot. Though I think it's a lil different from last time.

And then we went home to my place to collect more ang paus from my other relatives. Actually, my brother and mom did the collecting on my behalf. ^^ Apparently I have loadsa cousins and erm... maybe Im an aunt? But anyway... played a lil game with my brother... and boy is that fella lucky! I lost my money to him... AGAIN! I guess this year just isnt my year to gamble and win. :P

Danny and I had dinner at Victoria Station. It was a surprise from him. I was seriously clueless. I thought we were just going to some mamak for dinner or something. But I think it's special. Too bad he didnt capture it on camera though. But the memory will last. He told me he had booked it two weeks before Valentines. I was really surprised. The meal was okay, though my fish and chips tasted more like fish sticks and chicken nugget. O_o

But it is a day to remember. Jing didnt come down to KL though but she might do so next week. ^^ Danny's going back to Aussie this Wednesday too. *SiGh* So much happening...

It's finally done! It cost me a bomb but it's finally done~ I took that bold step to actually do something different with my hair. I PERMED IT! Well... more or curled really. But anywho... I dunno if RM 298 was worth it for this but I think this would be my one and only time doing this so I guess it was ok. It cost RM 38 for a cut and the rest is the price of the perm.

I did my hair at 1 Utama at a place called Dry Cut. Which isnt bad. The guy suggested I got a treatment for my hair cos apparently it was dry. I didnt want to cos it would cost me more and I was on a budget. So, I sat in the chair for 2 hours plus not knowing what was going on ( since it was my first time doing this) as they placed goo on my hair. ( It was actually a treatment of some sort) So with all the plastic wrapping and heating of my hair, it was finally done. At least these people understand their customers. So I would give em a 3.5 out of 5. :) They even did my nails for free! :D

So after the hair ordeal, we made it just in time for a movie. The four of us, ( TOoT , Hawk, Danny and me) watched Chasing Stripes. It was okay. Kinda funny. After the movie we walked around for food. ToOt got hungry quick fast so we had Shakey's Pizza for dinner. I cannot believe we were at the shopping mall for over 8 hours! That's like a record. Haha... but yea... this was how my day ended.

Yeap, Ive got the Valentine blues. Okay, so Chinese New Year comes before Valentines, but I still have the feeling where I dont want Valentine's Day to come. For starters, Danny will be going back to Melbourne 2 days after. I cant believe time has flown by so quick.

But on a happier note, Danny decided to get me something for Valentine's cum birthday. ^^ He asked me if I wanted a new phone or a watch ( which I have been dying to get) but in the end I settled for the phone cos I didnt really need a watch... actually... I dont really need a new phone either... but it would prolly be nice to have a new toy to play with. ^^ I was actually surprise cos for a guy who doesnt buy gifts during Christmas, I didnt expect anything for Valentines though. Okay, I expect something for my bdays but heck, which girl wouldnt?

Anyway... he did also suggest a whole bunch of other things such as a new wardrobe ( maybe not a whole wardrobe but maybe a few new clothes) accessories ( which I dont wear often) and some other stuff... but really, I didnt think it was necessary to get me anything. I kinda felt bad really cos now I dunno what to get him. He did say all he wanted was to use the new phone for the 1st 6 months. :) Not like I care. ^^ But I dont think that's enough. I wanna get him something that can be of use to him. *sigh* Why are guys so hard to shop for? Or should the question be... why are things so expensive? -.-"

For Chinese New Year however, Im still debating if I should return home this year. I have my pros and cons... but mostly cons which makes me wanna skip this years "reunion" with my relatives. For starters... if I do return home, I'll prolly hear my aunts and uncles nagging at me... and if I dont, they'll prolly be nagging even more. -.-" Well, at least I'll have my brother there... I prolly have to go through this once or twice a year. -.-" I know my family means good sometimes, but I just cant stand them the way they are... they're so... BITCHY! They bitch about everything. >:(

Back to Valentines... Im planing on baking again. ^^ Just for fun... this time however, Im baking cupcakes. Kekeke... dunno how they will turn out though. Hope I can make just enough for everyone. Oh yea... Jingy will be down for CNY too. She'll be hanging around till Valentine's Day. Apparently she and Erik would be spending a romantic evening having dinner for two at Planet Hollywood in KL. I do hope we would be able to meet up though. And I hope Hawkie would be back from Taiping by then. Nothing is the same without him. ^^

*Sigh* This year's birthday wouldnt be the same without Danny. :( I cant believe how old Im gonna be. O_O I'm already feeling the "oldness" within. Haha...-.-" Yes, coming of age... gawd... I'll be 21 in a year. O_O OMG... *stops thinking* Anyway, wish all whose been reading this blog a HAPPY CHINESE NEW YEAR and also erm... HAPPY VALENTINES DAY~!
